Who we are

July Labs, LLC(“July Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product studio based in Delaware, United States. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the data controller for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at contact@julylabs.io.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide. When you contact us through the website or by email, we receive your name, email address, any company name, and the contents of your message.
  • Technical information. Our hosting provider may automatically log standard data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, in order to operate and secure the site.
  • Cookies. We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies as described below.

How we use your information

We use personal data to:

  • respond to your inquiries and communications;
  • operate, maintain, and secure the website;
  • understand how the site is used so we can improve it (only with your consent); and
  • comply with our legal obligations.

Legal bases for processing (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for optional analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and keeping the site secure; and the performance of a contract where you use a product we offer.

Cookies

Essential cookies are necessary for the site to function and are always active. With your consent, we may also use analytics cookies to understand usage and improve the experience. The site sets no non-essential cookies until you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate the site (such as our cloud hosting provider), and where required by law. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed there. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, to respond to your enquiry and maintain our business records — and then delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@julylabs.io.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
